Teaching in China has been an eye-opening experience! The workdays are long, the schools are different from back home, and the food—well, let’s just say it’s an adventure of its own. But the students are amazing, the cultural exchange is fascinating, and life here is never boring. I might not have mastered Chinese yet, but I’ve mastered the art of improvisation in the classroom. To future teachers: be flexible, be patient, and don’t be afraid to try new things—except maybe the hotpot, that’s still too intense for me!

The summer of 2017 turned out to be one of the brightest and most unforgettable experiences of my life, all thanks to the Working Holiday in Germany program! Working in the gastronomy sector, I met amazing people from all over the world and significantly improved my German. But it wasn’t just about work—traveling to Austria, the Czech Republic, and iconic German cities like Berlin, Munich, and Stuttgart made it even more special. Living in Germany for three months gave me a deep appreciation for its beauty and mystery, which has fascinated me for years.

Le Touessrok Hotel is one of the finest hotels in Mauritius, and I was lucky enough to be part of its incredible team. Working in a five-star environment is intense but so rewarding! I met professionals from around the world, improved my skills, and learned to handle high standards. Mauritius itself is breathtaking—I still can’t believe I got to call it home for a few months. Future interns, don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. That’s where the magic happens!

Australia is everything I imagined and more!!! After months of preparation, I finally found myself living by the ocean in beautiful San Remo, working at one of Victoria’s top resorts.

The experience has been incredible, both professionally and personally. From stunning landscapes to friendly people, Australia truly HAS it all. Ever since I first saw pictures of Germany in my elementary school textbook, I dreamed of visiting this country. And thanks to the Working Holiday in Germany program, that dream became a reality! Spending 2.5 months working in Phantasialand near Cologne was an unforgettable adventure. My job in the fruit kitchen was surprisingly fun, with a fantastic team and plenty of sweet creations. But the real highlight? Traveling! From Cologne to Brussels, Amsterdam, and beyond, every trip was a new discovery.

Interning at The St. Regis Mauritius Resort felt like stepping into another world. The hotel’s standards are incredibly high, and it was an honor to be part of such a professional team. London exceeded all my expectations! From famous landmarks to charming streets, this city is a dream. My time at Edgware Academy was fantastic—I met students from around the world and had an incredible teacher who made learning English fun. A week wasn’t enough, but it gave me a taste of London’s magic, and I know I’ll be back. If you’re thinking about studying abroad, I highly recommend this experience!

Living in South Africa has been nothing short of amazing! My host family is wonderful, the city is vibrant, and the energy here is contagious. The football fever is unreal—every day, the streets are filled with excitement! Though I must admit, those vuvuzelas are a real headache—literally! I tried blowing one myself, but it’s harder than it looks. Still, this experience has been worth every moment. If you’re thinking about coming here—just do it!
